Blackcurrant box mod Flavour in Canada: the cheap shortlist
Blackcurrant in Canada: 8 units tested over 6 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Canada.
What blackcurrant costs in Canada
Blackcurrant prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Canada that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within CA$3.02 per 10 ml.
Most people searching Flavour in Canada are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long blackcurrant tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a blackcurrant box mod really costs in Canada
Blackcurrant box mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 8 units and 6 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested blackcurrant in a box mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Canada, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 3–6 business days.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 8 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every blackcurrant bottle shipped into Canada.
Where blackcurrant goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a box mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Mixing blackcurrant with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised CA$45 entry kit as the real cost when refills run CA$3.02 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here

Yes, tracked to 3–6 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does blackcurrant taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the blackcurrant blend itself harsh.
How much does a box mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Canada: about CA$3.02 per 10 ml liquid plus CA$45 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
