Blackcurrant cartomizer Flavour in Canada: the cheap shortlist
Blackcurrant in Canada: 17 units tested over 6 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Canada.
Delivery, returns and what 3–6 business days really means
Blackcurrant in a cartomizer is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Canada the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Blackcurrant prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Canada that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within CA$2.82 per 10 ml.
The short version: blackcurrant in Canada works if the cartomizer, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a blackcurrant cartomizer really costs in Canada
Blackcurrant in Canada reaches the shelf in cartomizer formats, and the cheapest ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested blackcurrant in a cartomizer
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 3–6 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a cartomizer arrives sealed but wrong.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in Canada, not a suggestion.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 3–6 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where blackcurrant goes wrong
- Mixing blackcurrant with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Chasing a discount on a cartomizer that then needs an adapter nobody in Canada stocks.
- Treating the advertised CA$56 entry kit as the real cost when refills run CA$2.82 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Canada sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Health Canada caps nicotine at 20 mg/mL and requires child-resistant packaging. Shipping of nicotine to Canada runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should blackcurrant start at?
Start at whatever Canada allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a cartomizer.
Do you ship tracked orders to Canada?
Yes, tracked to 3–6 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On blackcurrant the budget price and the premium price can sit within CA$2.82 per 10 ml once 3–6 business days is counted.
