Blackcurrant RDA Flavour in Canada: the order shortlist
Blackcurrant in Canada: 14 units tested over 5 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Canada.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Blackcurrant sounds like one product. It is not: a RDA running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Blackcurrant in a RDA is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Canada the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: blackcurrant in Canada works if the RDA, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a blackcurrant RDA really costs in Canada
Blackcurrant prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Canada that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within CA$2.86 per 10 ml.
How we tested blackcurrant in a RDA
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Canada, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 3–6 business days.
- Batch code and production date, so a blackcurrant bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Spare parts availability for RDA in Canada, since tanks and pods go first.
Where blackcurrant goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long blackcurrant in Canada survives.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ignoring the batch date on a RDA and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for blackcurrant in Canada must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Health Canada caps nicotine at 20 mg/mL and requires child-resistant packaging.

Frequently asked questions
How long does blackcurrant in a RDA last?
In Canada we measured 5 to 14 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Is blackcurrant legal to sell in Canada?
Health Canada caps nicotine at 20 mg/mL and requires child-resistant packaging.
What nicotine strength should blackcurrant start at?
Start at whatever Canada allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a RDA.
