Caramel RDA Flavour in Canada: the budget shortlist
Caramel in Canada: 24 units tested over 7 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Canada.
How we tested Caramel RDA here
Caramel prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Canada that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within CA$3.29 per 10 ml.
Caramel RDA reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 24 units and 7 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you only read one line: the RDA you buy decides how long caramel tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a caramel RDA really costs in Canada
The honest read on caramel: 24 units through the same routine over 7 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested caramel in a RDA
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Canada, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 3–6 business days.
- Stock depth: 24 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in Canada, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where caramel goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Canada accept nicotine freight.
- Ignoring the batch date on a RDA and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for caramel in Canada must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Health Canada caps nicotine at 20 mg/mL and requires child-resistant packaging. Shipping of nicotine to Canada runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Why does caramel taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the caramel blend itself harsh.
