Below is the run we did for this search: 13 units, pen device, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a coffee pen device really costs in Canada
A coffee pen device from the pre-order options in Canada costs about CA$1.74 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested coffee in a pen device
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Canada, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 3–6 business days.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every coffee bottle shipped into Canada.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in Canada, since tanks and pods go first.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in Canada, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
Where coffee goes wrong
- Treating the advertised CA$64 entry kit as the real cost when refills run CA$1.74 per 10 ml.
- Mixing coffee with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why coffee tastes flat after two days.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On coffee the budget price and the premium price can sit within CA$1.74 per 10 ml once 3–6 business days is counted.
Is coffee legal to sell in Canada?
Health Canada caps nicotine at 20 mg/mL and requires child-resistant packaging.
How long does coffee in a pen device last?
In Canada we measured 8 to 13 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
