Dessert starter kit Flavour in Canada: the online shortlist
Dessert in Canada: 19 units tested over 3 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Canada.
Coil life, liquid cost and the dessert habit
Dessert prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Canada that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within CA$3.04 per 10 ml.
The honest read on dessert: 19 units through the same routine over 3 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the starter kit you buy decides how long dessert tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a dessert starter kit really costs in Canada
Ordering into Canada usually means waiting 3–6 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested dessert in a starter kit
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Canada, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 3–6 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the starter kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a starter kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Batch code and production date, so a dessert bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where dessert goes wrong
- Treating the advertised CA$60 entry kit as the real cost when refills run CA$3.04 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a starter kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Canada stocks.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why dessert tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Health Canada caps nicotine at 20 mg/mL and requires child-resistant packaging.
Retail sales in Canada sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship tracked orders to Canada?
Yes, tracked to 3–6 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does dessert taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the starter kit units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the dessert blend itself harsh.
How long does dessert in a starter kit last?
In Canada we measured 3 to 19 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
