Mint pod kit Flavour in Canada: the order shortlist
Mint in Canada: 16 units tested over 6 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Canada.
Coil life, liquid cost and the mint habit
Mint sounds like one product. It is not: a pod kit running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
We run mint the same way in Canada: same pod kit, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 16 units, pod kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a mint pod kit really costs in Canada
Most people searching Flavour in Canada are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested mint in a pod kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 3–6 business days.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 16 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in Canada, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pod kit arrives sealed but wrong.
Where mint goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a pod kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised CA$30 entry kit as the real cost when refills run CA$2.33 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for mint in Canada must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Retail sales in Canada sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
