Pear box mod Flavour in Canada: the review shortlist
Pear in Canada: 7 units tested over 9 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Canada.
How to tell a good box mod from a repack
If you are looking at pear in Canada, the first question is not strength. It is whether the box mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Pear sounds like one product. It is not: a box mod running 20 mg/mL will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long pear tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a pear box mod really costs in Canada
A pear box mod from the reviewed options in Canada costs about CA$3.49 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested pear in a box mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Canada, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in Canada, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a pear bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
Where pear goes wrong
- Treating the advertised CA$43 entry kit as the real cost when refills run CA$3.49 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest box mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Canada accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Health Canada caps nicotine at 20 mg/mL and requires child-resistant packaging. Shipping of nicotine to Canada runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Packaging for pear in Canada must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
