Plain RDA Flavour in Canada: the wholesale shortlist
Plain in Canada: 18 units tested over 6 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Canada.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Ordering into Canada usually means waiting 3–6 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
The honest read on plain: 18 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the RDA you buy decides how long plain tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plain RDA really costs in Canada
Plain RDA reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 18 units and 6 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested plain in a RDA
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 3–6 business days.
- Batch code and production date, so a plain bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in Canada, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where plain goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Canada accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised CA$43 entry kit as the real cost when refills run CA$2.7 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a RDA and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Health Canada caps nicotine at 20 mg/mL and requires child-resistant packaging. Shipping of nicotine to Canada runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should plain start at?
Start at whatever Canada allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a RDA.
Why does plain taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the plain blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On plain the budget price and the premium price can sit within CA$2.7 per 10 ml once 3–6 business days is counted.
