Plain squonk mod Flavour in Canada: the online shortlist
Plain in Canada: 8 units tested over 5 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Canada.
Where buyers go wrong with plain in Canada
Plain in a squonk mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Canada the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Most people searching Flavour in Canada are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
The short version: plain in Canada works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plain squonk mod really costs in Canada
A plain squonk mod from the online options in Canada costs about CA$2.07 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested plain in a squonk mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Canada, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in Canada, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a plain bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plain bottle shipped into Canada.
Where plain goes wrong
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Buying the cheapest squonk mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised CA$59 entry kit as the real cost when refills run CA$2.07 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Canada need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Health Canada caps nicotine at 20 mg/mL and requires child-resistant packaging. Shipping of nicotine to Canada runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
Why does plain taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the plain blend itself harsh.
How long does plain in a squonk mod last?
In Canada we measured 5 to 8 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Can I order Flavour online in Canada?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 3–6 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
