Plain sub-ohm kit Flavour in Canada: the cheap shortlist
Plain in Canada: 9 units tested over 9 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Canada.
Delivery, returns and what 3–6 business days really means
Ordering into Canada usually means waiting 3–6 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
Ordering into Canada usually means waiting 3–6 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
If you only read one line: the sub-ohm kit you buy decides how long plain tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plain sub-ohm kit really costs in Canada
Plain sub-ohm kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 9 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested plain in a sub-ohm kit
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Canada, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a sub-ohm kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 9 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Spare parts availability for sub-ohm kit in Canada, since tanks and pods go first.
Where plain goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Canada accept nicotine freight.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long plain in Canada survives.
- Treating the advertised CA$53 entry kit as the real cost when refills run CA$2.57 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Health Canada caps nicotine at 20 mg/mL and requires child-resistant packaging. Shipping of nicotine to Canada runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Packaging for plain in Canada must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On plain the budget price and the premium price can sit within CA$2.57 per 10 ml once 3–6 business days is counted.
Why does plain taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the sub-ohm kit units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the plain blend itself harsh.
How much does a sub-ohm kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Canada: about CA$2.57 per 10 ml liquid plus CA$53 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
