Plum pen device Flavour in Canada: the compare shortlist
Plum in Canada: 22 units tested over 4 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Canada.
Where buyers go wrong with plum in Canada
A plum pen device from the compared options in Canada costs about CA$2.06 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
We run plum the same way in Canada: same pen device, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long plum tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plum pen device really costs in Canada
The honest read on plum: 22 units through the same routine over 4 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested plum in a pen device
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Canada, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in Canada, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 22 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plum bottle shipped into Canada.
Where plum goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long plum in Canada survives.
- Treating the advertised CA$33 entry kit as the real cost when refills run CA$2.06 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why plum tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Canada sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Packaging for plum in Canada must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

| Entry kit | CA$33 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | CA$2.06 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
How long does plum in a pen device last?
In Canada we measured 4 to 22 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On plum the budget price and the premium price can sit within CA$2.06 per 10 ml once 3–6 business days is counted.
What nicotine strength should plum start at?
Start at whatever Canada allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pen device.
