Plum pod kit Flavour in Canada: the flat shortlist
Plum in Canada: 10 units tested over 7 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Canada.
How to tell a good pod kit from a repack
A plum pod kit from the flat-rate options in Canada costs about CA$1.72 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Plum in a pod kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Canada the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: plum in Canada works if the pod kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a plum pod kit really costs in Canada
Ordering into Canada usually means waiting 3–6 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested plum in a pod kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Canada, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 3–6 business days.
- Coil type inside the pod kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pod kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Batch code and production date, so a plum bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where plum goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a pod kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Chasing a discount on a pod kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Canada stocks.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why plum tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Health Canada caps nicotine at 20 mg/mL and requires child-resistant packaging.
Retail sales in Canada sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
