Plum in Canada: 16 units tested over 2 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Canada.
What plum costs in Canada
We run plum the same way in Canada: same sub-ohm kit, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Plum prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Canada that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within CA$1.71 per 10 ml.
Below is the run we did for this search: 16 units, sub-ohm kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a plum sub-ohm kit really costs in Canada
Plum sub-ohm kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 16 units and 2 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested plum in a sub-ohm kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 3–6 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Canada, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Stock depth: 16 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a plum bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every plum bottle shipped into Canada.
- Spare parts availability for sub-ohm kit in Canada, since tanks and pods go first.
Where plum goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long plum in Canada survives.
- Chasing a discount on a sub-ohm kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Canada stocks.
- Treating the advertised CA$35 entry kit as the real cost when refills run CA$1.71 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
