Salted box mod Flavour in Canada: the best shortlist
Salted in Canada: 6 units tested over 7 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Canada.
Choosing a box mod for salted
Salted prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Canada that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within CA$2.79 per 10 ml.
Salted in Canada reaches the shelf in box mod formats, and the best ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Below is the run we did for this search: 6 units, box mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a salted box mod really costs in Canada
A salted box mod from the best options in Canada costs about CA$2.79 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested salted in a box mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Canada, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 3–6 business days.
- Batch code and production date, so a salted bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where salted goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Canada accept nicotine freight.
- Chasing a discount on a box mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Canada stocks.
- Mixing salted with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Canada sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

On the last run in Canada: about CA$2.79 per 10 ml liquid plus CA$49 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does salted taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the salted blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On salted the budget price and the premium price can sit within CA$2.79 per 10 ml once 3–6 business days is counted.
