Salted pen device Flavour in Canada: the order shortlist
Salted in Canada: 21 units tested over 5 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Canada.
How we tested Salted pen device here
Most people searching Flavour in Canada are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Salted prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Canada that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within CA$2.51 per 10 ml.
Below is the run we did for this search: 21 units, pen device, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a salted pen device really costs in Canada
Salted in a pen device is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Canada the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested salted in a pen device
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Canada, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 3–6 business days.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 3–6 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in Canada, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 21 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where salted goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Canada accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Canada sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Health Canada caps nicotine at 20 mg/mL and requires child-resistant packaging. Shipping of nicotine to Canada runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

| Nicotine ceiling | 20 mg/mL | Legal retail limit in Canada |

| Entry kit | CA$58 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | CA$2.51 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship tracked orders to Canada?
Yes, tracked to 3–6 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On salted the budget price and the premium price can sit within CA$2.51 per 10 ml once 3–6 business days is counted.
Why does salted taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the salted blend itself harsh.
