Salted pod kit Flavour in Canada: the guide shortlist
Salted in Canada: 16 units tested over 2 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Canada.
Where buyers go wrong with salted in Canada
Most people searching Flavour in Canada are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
A salted pod kit from the starter options in Canada costs about CA$3.25 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: salted in Canada works if the pod kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a salted pod kit really costs in Canada
Salted in a pod kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Canada the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested salted in a pod kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Canada, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 3–6 business days.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Spare parts availability for pod kit in Canada, since tanks and pods go first.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 3–6 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where salted goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long salted in Canada survives.
- Buying the cheapest pod kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised CA$37 entry kit as the real cost when refills run CA$3.25 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Canada need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Health Canada caps nicotine at 20 mg/mL and requires child-resistant packaging. Shipping of nicotine to Canada runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
Why does salted taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pod kit units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the salted blend itself harsh.
How much does a pod kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Canada: about CA$3.25 per 10 ml liquid plus CA$37 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
What nicotine strength should salted start at?
Start at whatever Canada allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pod kit.
