Salted squonk mod Flavour in Canada: the budget shortlist
Salted in Canada: 9 units tested over 8 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Canada.
How we tested Salted squonk mod here
Ordering into Canada usually means waiting 3–6 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
Salted in a squonk mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Canada the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you only read one line: the squonk mod you buy decides how long salted tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a salted squonk mod really costs in Canada
If you are looking at salted in Canada, the first question is not strength. It is whether the squonk mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested salted in a squonk mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 3–6 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Canada, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in Canada, not a suggestion.
- Stock depth: 9 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where salted goes wrong
- Assuming 20 mg/mL is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ignoring the batch date on a squonk mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised CA$52 entry kit as the real cost when refills run CA$3.35 per 10 ml.
