Sour box mod Flavour in Canada: the deals shortlist
Sour in Canada: 17 units tested over 5 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Canada.
Where buyers go wrong with sour in Canada
Sour in Canada reaches the shelf in box mod formats, and the discounted ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
A sour box mod from the discounted options in Canada costs about CA$3.23 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long sour tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a sour box mod really costs in Canada
Sour in a box mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Canada the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested sour in a box mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 3–6 business days.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 3–6 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where sour goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why sour tastes flat after two days.
- Mixing sour with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Buying the cheapest box mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Canada need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Retail sales in Canada sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

| Nicotine ceiling | 20 mg/mL | Legal retail limit in Canada |

| Entry kit | CA$45 | What a first order really pays |
| Refill cost | CA$3.23 / 10 ml | The figure that decides the habit |

Frequently asked questions
How long does sour in a box mod last?
In Canada we measured 5 to 17 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
What nicotine strength should sour start at?
Start at whatever Canada allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a box mod.
Is sour legal to sell in Canada?
Health Canada caps nicotine at 20 mg/mL and requires child-resistant packaging.
