Sour prefilled pod Flavour in Canada: the cheap shortlist
Sour in Canada: 14 units tested over 7 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for Canada.
How we tested Sour prefilled pod here
The honest read on sour: 14 units through the same routine over 7 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you are looking at sour in Canada, the first question is not strength. It is whether the prefilled pod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Below is the run we did for this search: 14 units, prefilled pod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a sour prefilled pod really costs in Canada
Sour in Canada reaches the shelf in prefilled pod formats, and the cheapest ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested sour in a prefilled pod
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 3–6 business days.
- Coil type inside the prefilled pod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a prefilled pod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 14 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where sour goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long sour in Canada survives.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why sour tastes flat after two days.
- Mixing sour with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a prefilled pod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Canada: about CA$3.1 per 10 ml liquid plus CA$65 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Do you ship tracked orders to Canada?
Yes, tracked to 3–6 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does sour taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the prefilled pod units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the sour blend itself harsh.
