Sour RDA Flavour in Canada: the best shortlist
Sour in Canada: 9 units tested over 9 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Canada.
Where buyers go wrong with sour in Canada
Sour prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Canada that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within CA$3.24 per 10 ml.
Sour RDA reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 9 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Below is the run we did for this search: 9 units, RDA, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a sour RDA really costs in Canada
If you are looking at sour in Canada, the first question is not strength. It is whether the RDA you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested sour in a RDA
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 3–6 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Canada, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 3–6 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in Canada, not a suggestion.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where sour goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why sour tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised CA$34 entry kit as the real cost when refills run CA$3.24 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a RDA and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for sour in Canada must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Retail sales in Canada sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Why does sour taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the sour blend itself harsh.
Do you ship tracked orders to Canada?
Yes, tracked to 3–6 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
How much does a RDA cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Canada: about CA$3.24 per 10 ml liquid plus CA$34 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
