Vanilla starter kit Flavour in Canada: the best shortlist
Vanilla in Canada: 21 units tested over 5 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Canada.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
The honest read on vanilla: 21 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Vanilla in Canada reaches the shelf in starter kit formats, and the best ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you only read one line: the starter kit you buy decides how long vanilla tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a vanilla starter kit really costs in Canada
Vanilla prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Canada that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within CA$2.15 per 10 ml.
How we tested vanilla in a starter kit
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 3–6 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Canada, which is 20 mg/mL for retail here.
- Stock depth: 21 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is 20 mg/mL in Canada, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a vanilla bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for starter kit in Canada, since tanks and pods go first.
Where vanilla goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long vanilla in Canada survives.
- Ignoring the batch date on a starter kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Chasing a discount on a starter kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Canada stocks.
The rules that apply here
Health Canada caps nicotine at 20 mg/mL and requires child-resistant packaging.
Retail sales in Canada sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is 20 mg/mL. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
